I have always thought of myself as a creative person, but it took some time to figure out exactly what that meant. Having graduated from UCSB with a film degree I landed some odd and end jobs that weren't making the cut. A year or so later I worked off and on at my dad's law offices while pursuing music. I wrote, sang and played guitar in a pop punk band in addition to producing live acoustic shows and photographing bands.

As time went on, my interest in music changed and I pursued art. I wasn't skilled in the traditional sense of knowing how to draw, but figured out a way to cheat by combining text and images. Fast forward a few more years and my basic photoshop skills allowed me to recreate my art onto different mediums.

I'm also proud to have published my first book "Pocket Poems - Unregretted Lessons from a Broken Heart." The book spans 15 years, focusing on three major relationships with each "chapter" carrying with it the poetry and/or songs from that boyfriend and the art that I painted during that time.

What once started off as a past time to cover up the blank walls of my apartment has
revealed my passion for color and design. Here you'll find a collection of my original art, poetry and photographs and I hope to bring a little conversation into your home.
